“The Mystery Revealed”

first

There is a mystery that has been hidden since the world began, and the time has come for those who are obedient through faith of the the word of God to teach what has been revealed to the nations. “Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, be glory through Jesus Christ forever”.(Romans 16:25-27).

The mystery is that God the Father has the ability to place Christ his Son to live within his people through the Holy Spirit, and this is as a sign to unbelievers (Gentiles) of the hope and glory of God. “Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest (known) to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory; Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus”.(Colossians 1:26-28).

Jesus at times spoke in parables (a story as an example) like the parable of the sower as seen in Matthew 13:1-11. Some would understand his message clearly while to others it was as a puzzle. When the Holy Spirit is given it allows a person to see and understand in ways they never could before! as though scales are removed from the eyes and his message is more easily understood. The word then has greater meaning to the Believer as never before, for the Spirit is given when a person through faith is obedient to the will of God. “And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable. And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables: That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any  time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them”. (Mark 4:10-12)”And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him”.(Acts 5:32).

People as they grow older will often say as they gain more wisdom, if I only knew then what I know now. It would be too overwhelming for a person to know all the knowledge the Holy Spirit guides them into at one time. Jesus even said there was many things he wanted us to know, but could not bear them now. “I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you”.(John 16:12-14).

God’s knowledge is infinite and unsearchable, we learn what is needed for our lives and this knowledge is a protection for the people of God. “O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgements, and his ways past finding out”.(Romans 11:33). It is also wonderful news that this wisdom we gain will be with us forever and never leave us, it is a covenant between us and the Father! “As for me, this is my covenant with them, saith the Lord; My Spirit that is upon thee, and my words which I have put in thy mouth, shall not depart out of thy mouth, nor out of the mouth of thy seed, nor out of the mouth of thy seed’s seed, saith the Lord, from henceforth and for ever”.(Isaiah 59:21). This is why to gain knowledge of the world is frivolous, but to gain wisdom of the world to come is eternal. God confirms the promise he has made of his covenant in Hebrews. (Hebrews 10:15-17).

God has revealed to us the mystery of his church which is not many denominations (Divisions), But One True Church of God which is the body of Believers born through the Spirit for we’ll then see the Father and the Lamb Jesus Christ are the temple in heaven! “And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it. And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof. And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it”.
 (Revelation 21:22-24)……(Isaiah 60:1-3).
