Christ came and broke down the middle partition and is our peace, and we can now come boldly before the throne of God. “But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made neigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace”.(Ephesians 3:13-15).
Revelation tells us of the red horse that comes with the second seal being opened, and that power will be given to take peace from the earth. At this time it is vital to of learned of the knowledge of Christ which gives true peace. “And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword”.(Revelation 6:3,4).
Even though it may seem a simple answer that to live in sin takes peace from our life, it remains true to the word of God. Forgiveness is offered to anyone that needs it yet to turn from it brings no peace to our soul. (Isaiah 59:1-4).
It is written there is a peace which passes all understanding and this peace comes to us by the repentance of all sins and the accepting of the Lord Jesus Christ. By making the decision of right over wrong, good over evil, light of the word over the darkness of wicked acts. “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; If there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things”.(Philippians 4:7,8).
