“The Throne Of God”

z9p3y7v4

Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Psalm 45:6.

We are told that heaven is Gods throne and the earth is his footstool, therefore there is not a place to be built for God to dwell with the believer other than in the heart of man. (Isaiah 66:1,2). Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build unto me? and where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath mine hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word.

Jesus passed into heaven and is seated at the right hand of his Father, and by doing so we can go boldly to the throne of grace that is before God! (Hebrews 4:14-16). Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Jesus is known as the BRANCH and he will one day sit and rule upon his throne given to him by his Father. (Zechariah 6:12,13). And speak unto him, saying, Thus speaketh the LORD of hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD: Even he shall build the temple of the LORD; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne: and the counsel of peace shall be between them both.

God made an oath to David that through his lineage (loins) Christ would be born and would sit upon his throne. (Acts 2:29,30). Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day. Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;

  1. At the end of REVELATION, Jesus makes it a point to inform humanity that he is the “ROOT”. He also refers himself to the “VINE”. THE BRANCH is not Jesus. ISAIAH 11. Be Blessed

    • humanity777…..You are correct as John 15:5 tells us Jesus is the vine and we are the branches. Jeremiah 23:5 tells us Jesus is a righteous branch raised unto David. Zechariah 3:8-10 Jesus is the branch in Zechariah’s vision and the stone with seven eyes, this is confirmed in Revelation 5:6 the lamb who was slain. God Bless You.

      • Isaiah 11 is dedicated to THE BRANCH. It comes from the STUMP OF JESSE….**DAVID’S FATHER**….A Branch onto David.

        The BRANCH: “HE WILL DELIGHT IN THE FEAR OF GOD.”

        Does that really sound like Jesus to you? The references to the BRANCH, are all for the end of time Prophet. And there are many more references.
