God leaves no one in the dark who seek to know his way, and Jesus plainly laid out what events will happen before his return. It is found in Matthew Chapter 24, Mark Chapter 13. And we find when the Pharisees demanded to know when the kingdom of God should come that Jesus told them what to look for in Luke 17:20-37.
When we read that God is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last (Revelation 22:13) we can be sure we can believe Daniel who was given a vision of the latter days when he spoke of Jesus who was known as (The ancient of days). He will have a white as snow garment, hair as pure wool, a throne like a fiery flame, and eyes (Wheels) as burning fire! (Daniel 7:9), I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire. (Revelation 1:14).
Christ will return as the ancient of days (Latter days) and be given dominion and a kingdom that all people and nations will never see destroyed. (Daniel 7:13,14). I saw in the night visions, and, behold, one like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.
In the final days many people shall go up to the mountain of the Lord known as the house of the Lord God of Jacob/Israel, and then will we walk in the light of the Lord and there will never be darkness ever again! (Isaiah 2:2-5), And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. O house of Jacob, come ye, and let us walk in the light of the Lord. (Revelation 21:23-25).
We find in the finality of Gods perfect plan that he will cleanse the land of all wickedness, and he will perform the thoughts of his heart whether he is accepted or not as he has given man room to repent and must carry out his plan. (Jeremiah 23:19,20). Behold, a whirlwind of the Lord is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked. The anger of the Lord shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly.
