God walks through the earth many times, and is unnoticed by sight and what a great wonder it must have been to see the red sea parted as God led his people through the midst of it! (Psalm 77:14-20). Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people. Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah. The waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled. The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad. The voice of thy thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.Thy way is in the sea, and thy path in the great waters, and thy footsteps are not known. Thou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
As Christians we walk a path that has been set ahead of us that the former prophet’s and people of God walked as they lived by examples we can learn from. (Job 23:10-12). But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold. My foot hath held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined. Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.
We are strongly taught in the word what is the right and wrong path we should be on, and when we are enticed by sinner’s not to walk with them we then stay off their path. (Proverbs 1:10-15). My son, if sinners entice thee, consent thou not.If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause: Let us swallow them up alive as the grave; and whole, as those that go down into the pit: We shall find all precious substance, we shall fill our houses with spoil: Cast in thy lot among us; let us all have one purse:My son, walk not thou in the way with them; refrain thy foot from their path:
The Lord even says that we should ask for the old paths, for when we look back at the times of our grandparents and also our own parents that lived in a time when a neighbor genuinely cared and God was the center of the family! (Jeremiah 6:16). Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
THY WORD IS A LAMP UNTO MY FEET, AND A LIGHT UNTO MY PATH. (Psalm 119:105).
