” Consider “

Do we live our lives like the Good Samaritan or see one in need and look past them because we have problems of our own? Do we stop and consider our neighbor? (Luke 10:30-37). And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.  And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.  But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.  And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.  Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? And he said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do thou likewise.

It is written many times that God is not a respecter of persons, and as Christians we too are to be the same in dealing with our fellow man. We consider that one person is not above another in the body of Christ. (James 2:1-5). My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.  For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;  And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool: Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts.  Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?

The wickeds mindset is usually on doing no good, yet the righteous will always consider the poor. (Proverbs 29:6-7) In the transgression of an evil man there is a snare: but the righteous doth sing and rejoice.  The righteous considereth the cause of the poor: but the wicked regardeth not to know it……. (Psalm 41:1-2).

We are shown the salvation of God when we praise and glorify Him, therefore we should never leave God out of our life! (Psalm 50:22-23).
