“His Words Are Our Words “

Before we come to repentance we are busy with all this life offers, but as Christians the born again experience is misunderstood by the world for it is spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:11-14).  For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

By the renewing of our minds and by His spirit our words are transformed into His words. (Romans 12:2)… (Ephesians 4:17-25).

The disciples who walked closely with Jesus were well instructed by Him, and after His resurrection He opened their understanding and that they are to teach of repentance and remission of sins. Just as we today receive of His promise of the Holy Spirit the disciples as well were endued with power from on high. It is this spirit of God which allows us to speak the words He too has spoken.(Luke 24:44-49)  And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me. Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day: And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things. And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high…. (John 16:13-15)…. (John 17:13-20).

It is written God is love and we are as He is in this world! (1 John 4:15-21).

1 Peter 3:14-17

But and if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.
