“A new year of change”

change

Many are starting out this year by making resolutions with all good intentions and by March it is all a distant thought. This year let us seek to learn more of the source of all hope and strength by learning about the Lord and turn our life around by repenting! Why not start out the new year with a clean slate and say goodbye once and for all to the baggage we have carried for so long!(2 Peter 3:9). The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

This year why not make a change that will serve us in this life and the one to come, by renewing our minds in the word of God that will eternally stand. Some may have lost loved ones through the year while others may have lost a job or a relationship, whatever the loss and heartache only the one who said He would never leave nor forsake us truly understands. If we seek God with all our heart we will never regret it, as He alone can turn our sorrows to joy like no other!(Jeremiah 29:11-13). 11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.13 And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Let’s make this a year to never forget because of all the many blessing’s we received for forsaking the sin that so easily besets us, and being a better person we were created to be for ourselves and for others!
