The Walk Of The Lord

Part 2

The previous writing allowed us to see how a life which walks with the Lord is not parallel with the worlds walk. After all we are called out of the world, yet some are still walking in their old ways and have returned unto the bondage Christ has set them free from(Galatians 4:3-11).

We are instructed to not look back, but to look forward and press towards the goal of the high calling of God in Jesus Christ(Philippians 3:13-20).

God see’s us telling others about Him and to confirm this we read of Samuel when the people wanted a king over them, then Samuel prayed unto the Lord and was told it wasn’t him the people were rejecting but it was the Lord!(1 Samuel 8:4-8).

Jesus told His disciples of how He was no longer going to be physically with them and would send His holy spirit that would continue to teach and guide them. The walk of the Lord will cause us to be hated by some, and many times be disagreed with. We are to stay the course and fight the good fight of faith(John 17:6-20).

We are not to be as revelation teaches us as lukewarm and be on the fence with our belief of the Lord as the church of the La-od-i-ce’-ans having one foot serving the old ways which we are called from, while the other foot is on the path of the Lord(Revelation 3:14-22).

BE YE SEPERATE ( 2 Corinthians 6:14-18). 14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
