Some think there are gray areas as far as decisions or the way situations are. Is this the way God has his Holy Word written that it is not very clear what sin is or isn’t? His way is highly black and white when he clearly states no gray areas in his will as scripture tells of what he loves and what he hates!

THINGS GOD LOVES

1.)Righteousness- “Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows”.(Psalm 45:7)

2.)Truth- “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure your hearts before him”.(1 John 3:18-19).

3.)Judgment- “For I the Lord love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them. And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the Lord hath blessed”.(Isaiah 61:8-9).

4.)Mercy- “He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God”.(Micah 6:8).

Things God Hates

1.)Seven things listed- “These six things doth the Lord hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren”.

2.)One who imagines evil against their neighbor- “These are the things that ye shall do; speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: And let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbor; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hate, saith the Lord”.(Zechariah 8:16-17).

3.)Graven images of any kind- “Ye shall make you no idols nor graven image, neither rear ye up a standing image, neither shall ye set up any image of stone in your land, to bow down unto it: for I am the Lord your God”.(Leviticus 26:1).

4.)Evil- “Seek good and not evil, that ye may live: and so the Lord,the God of hosts, shall be with you, as ye have spoken. Hate the evil, and love the good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that the Lord God of hosts will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph”.(Amos 5:15).
