Sheep and goat’s ……. The great divide

A lesson taken from the book of Matthew 25:31-46

The day will come when our Lord will return and will gather all nations, and the great divide between the sheep and goats will be done. The Lord Himself will be the shepherd who will separate those who did the will of God in the earth, and those who chose not to. In Jesus’ own words He tells us He will put the sheep to His right hand and the goat’s to the left.

WHO ARE THE SHEEP AND GOATS?

Jesus explains the sheep are those who in our lives we saw those who were hungry or thirsty and we fed them, we took in the stranger if they needed shelter and clothed those who needed. We visited the sick and ministered unto the prisoner in their times of need. This was all done out of love as though we were serving our Lord Himself!

The goat’s on the other hand are those who are unaware of the needs of others and ask Him when did they see Him hungry or thirsty or as a stranger, or when was He in need of clothes or was a stranger in need of shelter or was sick or was a prisoner?

At that time our Lord will make the great divide of the sheep and the goat’s of which there are clearly two separate places for each.

THE SHEEP……. (Matthew 25:32-34) 32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: 33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. 34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

THE GOAT’S…… (Matthew 25:41,46) 41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: 46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.
