One day, where I am you will be also

The world teaches of many ways to heaven, yet Jesus has taught us there is only one way! Even when Thomas doubted that he knew the way Jesus reassured him he did, and even us today we know He is The Way……. The Truth……. and The Life and no one goes to the Father but by Him. (John 14:1-7).  Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Jesus was with God the Father even before the earth was created, John 17:3-5…… 6:37-40. He was also God in the flesh who walked among us and through His Spirit does so today. And as He walked with His Father while on earth He knew one day He’d return to Him just as we His follower’s will do. When Lazarus died his sister Martha learned Jesus is the resurrection and as Martha thought her brother would raise up at the last day Jesus was saying He would see him sooner. We are assured of this when the Malefactor on the cross repented and Jesus told Him he’d be in paradise with Him THAT VERY DAY!!! (John 11:23-26). Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again. Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day. Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

When we gain knowledge of Christ we find new strength for our life, and we no longer dwell in darkness, but are delivered from its power and are translated into His kingdom and have a place with Him! (Colossians 1:10-16).  That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; Strengthened with all might, according to his glorious power, unto all patience and longsuffering with joyfulness; Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
