If we travel to a land we were not born in whose language is different than ours, it is not easy to be understood. This is what it is like when we are born into this world and then born again from above. The born again experience is one that is hard to understand unless one has repented and was indwelled with the Holy Spirit. Nicodemus questioned Jesus of how is it possible to be born again? “Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit”.(John 3:3-8).

Jesus did the opposite of being born again as he left heaven which is the habitation of shear joy, comfort,love, and peace with God the Father and came to allow man to repent and one day enter heaven. This experience does not happen unless we are drawn of the Father and answer the call once we surrender to the truth of the word and no longer follow the lies of the world! “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, and they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life”.(John 6:44-47).

Nothing compares to being born again as the old way of life of sin no longer entices as it once did, and we are born from above by the indwelling of the Holy Spirit after genuine repentance! (Acts 2:38) Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

We are all born into this world in the flesh, and as hard as it was for Nicodemus to understand what is it to be born again we learn that only by the grace of God do we change and accept the better way of life found only in Him that leads us home where our soul yearns to return.
