Rebuke Is Hated,But It Saves Soul’s

Jesus said remember they hated me before they hated you, so why would we be hated if we are speaking the word of God? If you are willing to take a stand for the truth of the word then being hated by who is hearing it at times will be offensive to them if they are not wanting to live by it. You cannot put that which is holy on anything sinful yet many try. Jesus is known as the rock of offence and the disobedient will stumble at it! (1 Peter 2:7,8) Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner, And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

When Moses stood for God as he led the Israelites out of Egypt, did he fold when the red sea was in front of him and Pharoah’s army behind him? No he pressed on and knew God went before him and was confident! ( Exodus 14:21,22) And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. (Amos 5:10) They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly.

No one wants to see a person fall away from their faith, so we try our best to help them return to the Lord or the consequences may be grave. (2 Thessalonians 3:11-15) For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread. But ye, brethren, be not weary in well-doing. And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed. Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.

God is not a respecter of persons and we too are not to show favoritism if one is in error, for what good is it to be a servant of Christ and not want to allow someone to turn from the wide road that leads to destruction which many find and have them seek the narrow path that leads to life that very few find? (Proverbs 15:10) Correction is grievous unto him that forsaketh the way: and he that hateth reproof shall die.

Perfect timing and a most timely message here! I was just thinking early today as I was on a daily walk with my dog; thinking about this very point here in your well-illustrated truthful message!

“Busybodies” as you said was a precise thought I had about people in my immediate community along with meddlers, cronies of politics and power and just plain scoffers of a person who walks alone or is going against the tide and status-quo, as they speak with jealousy and contempt even backstabbing! As for example how so many were duped into getting the jab from the get-goes being proud they will not admit that they may have been wrong, tricked into trusting the government and MSM over being aligned with the Holy Spirit, because of pride and in some people severe bullheadedness to a fault! In Revelations it speaks about End Time when the truly haughty and proud will march into hell rather than to be totally humbled and submit to God’s Truth and admit their extreme error and need for redemption unto salvation! A time when truth and goodness are ridiculed or those who speak it are targeted

“The further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.” George Orwell

Many of these people I see around me know I worked in MSM and other fields of expertise but I shun the system and don’t give into government or powers and principalities all created and ruled by men; I obey all of the civil laws and moral codes of conduct but I will not be a minion to any man, group or government, especially now in this generation which I see is clearly passing away as in being the most lost ever with only one possible outcome which will be what has happened the Great Apostasy leading to the collapse of all humanity and the rise of the antichrist which will of course real the greatest lie from the father of all lies leaving only the final judgment and the return of our Savior Jesus Christ!

Billy Graham had said; “Many of our news magazines carry stories of immorality. Theologians and pastors are quoted as condoning sexual immorality under certain circumstances. The Bible says through Isaiah the prophet: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!” (Isaiah 5:20).

Precisely again what I was contemplating as I walked with my dog earlier today and you have brought to the fore here in your blog message! Billy Graham went on to explain very profoundly what I do see going on exponentially now!

“Humanity has always been dexterous at confusing evil with good. That was Adam and Eve’s problem, and it is our problem today. If evil were not made to appear good, there would be no such thing as temptation. It is in their close similarity that the danger lies.

Modern social righteousness often differs from the righteousness of the Bible. Someone has said: “A wrong deed is right if the majority of people declare it not to be wrong.” By this principle we can see our standards shifting from year to year according to the popular vote! Divorce was once frowned upon by society, and laws against fornication and adultery were strictly enforced. But now divorce is accepted by society, and fornication is glorified in our literature and films.

The Bible says: “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil.” God has not changed. His standards have not been lowered. God still calls immorality a sin, and the Bible says God is going to judge it.

Honesty was once the hallmark of character. But it has been set aside with an “It’s all right if you don’t get caught” philosophy. Only when we are in court are we required to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.”

I actually pain and long for this because as i see it each passing day may be an opportunity for some others to finally wake up and seek Christ in great humility but also I see far too much evil ensnaring more souls that are even running to the precipice now! This to me is the nightmare of all nightmares! I pray for God Almighty’s mercy for this lost generation but I ask that He would please bring His judgment as soon as possible and the final closure to the spiritual battle!

I’m convinced God answered my prayer and deep concern today with your message that He inspired you to bring into the light for all of us to see and I thank you for being his instrument in this way as you humble yourself and doing your utmost to serve our Lord and Savior Jesus by doing our Father’s will. Amen.

We take up our crosses and follow Him our beloved Jesus Christ!
    God bless you and yours!

    • I always love to hear as you wrote that you were just thinking of this today as you were walking your dog, God has His people on the same page many times which never mirrors the worlds way of thinking. The following saying you wrote really stood out to me “A wrong deed is right if the majority of people declare it not to be wrong.” YES!This statement really does sum up what we are seeing magnified in todays society!!! Reminds me of the scripture: “Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the LORD, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us?” as though God has no knowledge of His creation. (Isaiah 29:15)
Yes busybodies have always been around since time began and what this type of people don’t understand is God hates gossip as all it does is make a good person look bad, and a bad person look good. It destroys many friendships and families in it’s wake. (Proverbs 20:19).

Thank you for all the information you attached to your writing, and for reblogging this post it is appreciated. May you remain strong in your walk in the Lord, and be Blessed Always.

      • Well indeed Julia; you brought this full circle only confirming what I felt immediately upon reading your posting today! I usually recognize when God’s Holy Spirit is motivating me and sometimes others simultaneously, to see into His truth not the worlds; which I felt in this today, being absolutely that!

He answered my deep concern last night and then upon waking, after some unusual dreams too; not typical, dearly departed talking to me or me mostly talking to them and they were there to support me! They were in their prime both so handsome and serene bringing much joy and solace or comfort to me, their just being present, full of love the way I used to think of them as a boy or teen. They were helping me again from God’s everlasting glory where He embraces them continually!

And you were so right to mention these Scriptures that point to what I had been contemplating lately in this verse as well because you mentioning these Scriptures was confirmation!!

8“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. 9“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My ways are higher than your ways and My thoughts than your thoughts.… Isaiah 55:8,9
Thank you for the timely and inspiring posting and great feedback!

Perhaps something here will standout too!

        https://lawrencemorra.com/2020/02/15/money-is-the-root-of-all-evil/

      • Very good and insightful post! You point out clearly how the taking our eyes off of God is sure destruction as many cling to the material world which is about to perish with the using. Money in itself is not evil as to work and earn our living is a Blessing from God ( Ecclesiastes 3:12,13), (Ecclesiastes 5:18-20), but it is when money and the material things in this life is put ahead of serving God do riches become evil.
You could not of said better that the  political correctness or global climate catastrophe which is deflection or diversion away from all that matters most to any of us, and this is part and parcel to the New World Order Agenda.

I must say you have a beautiful way of seeing the story of the prodical son as a way for any one of us to have the chance to turn from our sinful life and to return to our Father in heaven once again!
I believe Lawrence when we come to the end of ourselves it is then we can see God for who He truly is, as in the scripture when John the Baptist said: I must decrease as He must increase. When we magnify God our life means more because we live for the one who created us to praise Him in the earth! So many are searching for the meaning of life…… That meaning is to fill our life with helping others to understand if God is the center of our life then everything else falls into place. As the saying goes “No matter what the question is……… love is always the answer”. We know God is love, therefore God is the answer!

May God Bless and Keep you Always close.

      • Sister Julia, I did think of this first Scripture which came to mind immediately after reading your reply, and when I looked in the file containing all of these other Scriptures as well; I can see they all pertain. So here is what I had in that one file and the first one really was the inspirational one, after reading what you had to say!!

John 15:18-21 ESV “If the world hates you, know that it has hated me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will also keep yours. But all these things they will do to you on account of my name, because they do not know him who sent me.”

1 John 2:15-17 ESV “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”

John 8:23 ESV “He said to them, “You are from below; I am from above. You are of this world; I am not of this world.”

James 4:4 ESV “You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”

Philippians 3:20-21 ESV “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”

Ephesians 2:1-3 ESV “And you were dead in the trespasses and sins in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind.”

1 John 5:19 ESV “We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.”

1 John 2:17 ESV “And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”

Romans 12:1-2 ESV “I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship. Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

Philippians 3:20 ESV “But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

James 1:27 ESV “Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.”

Matthew 6:24 ESV “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

1 John 3:13 ESV “Do not be surprised, brothers, that the world hates you.”

1 Peter 2:11 ESV “Beloved, I urge you as sojourners and exiles to abstain from the passions of the flesh, which wage war against your soul.”

Matthew 16:26 ESV “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?”

1 John 4:1 ESV “Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

Luke 1:37 ESV “For nothing will be impossible with God.”

2 Timothy 3:16 ESV “All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness.”

        God bless you!

      • Every scripture you have given is clearly what the walk of a TRUE CHRISTIAN comes to understand as what is most important, something the world will not understand for they are spiritually discerned and can only be understood by Gods Holy Spirit.
( 1 Corinthians 2:12-16) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
        Blessings Always.
        Julia

    • YES! How many confess to be walking with Christ and yet their actions couldn’t be further from Gods truth! Thank you for the fitting scripture. Stay strong in the Lord.
