Truth is always most important to stand for as the truth of the word of God is unfailing in the life of the Believer. Scripture does not mince words as to what the outcome is to those who do choose to accept and follow it, or decide to disregard and continue in a lie!

Before Christ returns there will be a falling away and for those who do not accept the truth of Gods word He will then allow them to believe a lie! (2 Thessalonians 2:9-11) Even him, whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because thy received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.

The word of God is not to be altered in any way, and all scripture teaches us we can hold onto it’s truth for it was written by the hand of God through his holy prophet’s. Did you know a person is considered to be a liar if they say they know Christ yet neglect to uphold the ten commandment’s? This shows us just how important it is to keep the commandments as God expects us as Christians to do. (1 John 2:3-6) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. (Psalm 119:151).

Truth is such a huge part of who God is as it brings his mercy and righteousness to the earth, for truth is the center and heart of God! (Psalm 85:7-10) Shew us thy mercy, O Lord, and grant us thy salvation. I will hear what God the Lord will speak: for he will speak peace unto his people, and to his saints; but let them not turn again to folly. Surely his salvation is nigh to them that fear him; that glory may dwell in our land. Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.

This is why our Lord said He is the way, THE TRUTH, and the life, and there is no other way to heaven except through the Son of God! (Acts 4:11,12) This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

                                     Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart

My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments: For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:1-6).
