How many of us were brought up being told how wrong it is to lie. When we’re young we know it’s a bad thing, but when we’re older we learn lying can keep us out of heaven! (Revelation 22:14,15) Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates of the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
We live in a world that satan is the god of (2 Corinthians 4:3,4) and his favorite job is in keeping people deceived from the knowledge of God. He tries his best to make the wrong look right all of which God let’s us know how outside of his way this really is (Isaiah 5:20,23) Woe unto them that call evil good and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him!.(Isaiah 5:20,23)………..Remember excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince (Proverbs 17:7).
The enemy of our soul satan isn’t fictional, but works through those who allow his ways to be worked through them and it is always things that are opposite of the righteousness of God. Jesus did not say he was the Way, The lie, And the Life he is a truth placed by the Father in heaven for Believers to follow. For those who do not want to be of the truth of God he clearly says he will send them strong delusion so they can believe their lies! (2 Thessalonians 2:9-11) Even him, whose coming is after the working of satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie.
Those who follow Christ stand out as different and laughed to scorn if they do not want to conform to the worlds ways, lies included. Example is have you ever been among people who think a dirty and degrading joke is so funny and it yet it makes you feel so uncomfortable? Did you know it’s biblical as a Christian to feel this way? For that which is naughty a liar will like. (Proverbs 17:4) A wicked doer giveth heed to false lips; and a liar giveth ear to a naughty tongue.
The guilt trip is one of satans many device’s he uses to keep the people of God intimidated and oppressed. That is why it’s so important to know the scriptures, so your aware of all the lies satan tries to pass as truth. The wrong is not justified in God’s eye’s, no matter how pretty a package it’s wrapped up in! God’s faith stands sure and is unchangeable whether we live by it or not (Romans 3:3,4) For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, that thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou are judged.
Be assured that no lie is of the truth, and for those who claim to love the Lord and do not do His commandments they are deceived and are liars ( 1 John 2:3-6) And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
