Our Lord has taught us for those who do not hear our words of the gospel, they are not of God. For those of us who truly love the Lord this is a very strong lesson for us to learn. It is a matter of accepting the truth of the word over a lie satan wants us to believe, because he is the father of lies! (John 8:39-47) They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham’s children, ye would do the works of Abraham. But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word. Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not. Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me? He that is of God heareth God’s words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

It means a lot to God for us to tell the truth, it is even a matter of life and death. Eternal life is a promise from God to the believer who loves the truth. Revelation teaches us there will be no liars in heaven (Revelation 22:12-15). And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.Ble ssed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

There is the truth of men, but it is the truth of God that makes the difference in the life of those who believe and are forever changed by the holy spirit of truth we receive when our sin is genuinely repented of!(John 14:15-18) If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. (Psalm 145:18)
