True faith and a solid life can only be found in being established in the unchangeable knowledge of Christ. As the world’s ways constantly change Jesus stays the same yesterday, today, and forever! When we have something that does not waver we can then be established and grounded within its ways and that is what we can take comfort in when reading the Holy word of God. (Jeremiah 51:15). He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding.

Habakkuk lived in a time to see the burden of those who chose evil over good just as we do today in our lives, and we see that God establishes such a people for correction and they are ordained for judgment which is another reason we need to stay in His love and truth. (Habakkuk 1:3-5,12,13) Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? for spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth. Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you. Art thou not from everlasting, O LORD my God, mine Holy One? we shall not die. O LORD, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

As a Christian we understand how important it is to press on through any tribulation which in the end is for our glory, and at the same time remember our Lord suffered as well to enter into glory. We must keep a strong faith in Christ and stay grounded in His way. (Ephesians 3:12-19). In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him. Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory. For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named, That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man; That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. ( 1Corinthians 15:58).
