The Cost Of Counterfeit Grace

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. (John 1:17).

Grace: Undeserved favor, Grace cannot be earned,it is a gift from God, Unmerited favor, God’s forgiveness.

Sin brings our soul into bondage, but by repentance we are saved by grace and obtain liberty found only in Christ. If we continue in a sinful life and say we are under grace we are deceived, as we are told to yield ourselves unto God and live unto righteousness. (Romans 6:11-16).  Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? ( 1 Corinthians 6:9).

Sin has been given a new name and it is masquerading as something acceptable to God and its name is homosexuality that many say is a new kind of “Special” or “Unique” love…….NO it is plain and simple lust of the flesh with a covering of counterfeit grace placed upon it! Scripture tells us if one genuinely repents they are crucified with Christ and no longer live in the sin they repented of. (Galatians 2:17-21). But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid. For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor. For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God. I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain. (Romans 1:27-32).

We will all stand before the judgment seat of Christ (2 Corinthians 5:10), and although it is unpopular for a person to hear what will save their soul, it will not deter me from telling what true grace is about….. For God’s word will never change to accommodate a person’s sin and the soul that sins it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:20-24).  The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son: the righteousness of the righteous shall be upon him, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon him. But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live? But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass that he hath trespassed, and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11).
