  1. It is vital as a Christian to stand for the truth of the word! Therefore the braking of any of his commandments as “Thou shalt not kill” gives no one a license to kill babies or any human life that God has created. When man takes matters into his own hands the laws of God become non effect. If we Love God we will do his will. (Psalm 119:10,11),(John 14:21).

  2. Do you realize that most Christian kids grow up not knowing the Ten Commandments?

Over a decade ago, the head of a denomination spoke in our church. He pulled out a ten dollar bill and said that he would give it to any child who could tell him the Ten Commandments in any order or form. As he put it away, he said that he had never been able to give it away in any church where he had spoken.

We Christians get excited when they want to remove monuments to the Ten Commandmetnts (I support these!), but we do not teach them to our own children. I don’t know what it will take for Christians to wake up, but we should not wonder at the state of our society with so little salt.

    • Agreed! We teach our children to memorize the 10 Commandments. It’s the 10 Commandments that point man to their sinfulness. We cannot keep the 10 Commandments,we need Jesus to cover our sin,as we repent. When we share the Gospel with people,we ask them,”Did you ever tell a lie?””Have you ever stolen something?”…and on down the list of the 10 Commandments. We look at the 10 Commandments more clearly when we realize that we DO lie,we DO murder[if we have anger in our hearts],we DO commit adultery if we’ve ever lusted after someone. The 10 Commandments are vital for sharing the Gospel and laying our hearts bare before the LORD,in repentance.
