Made complete and whole

Fear oftentimes will take a blessing out of our way that could have been otherwise received. Immediately after the woman who had an issue of blood was healed and made whole did the ruler of the synagogue’s house come to Jesus (Yahshua) because his daughter had died. Our Lord without hesitation said:”Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole ”He was laughed to scorn, but still took her hand and her spirit returned once again! (Luke 8:49-56) While he yet spake, there cometh one from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, Thy daughter is dead; trouble not the Master. But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole. And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden. And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead. And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise. And her spirit came again, and she arose straightway: and he commanded to give her meat. And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

As a christian we know that Jesus came to earth for so many things such as our redemption, salvation, and was empowered to touch and make many complete and whole!(Mark 6:54-56).  And when they were come out of the ship, straightway they knew him, And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was. And whithersoever he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

Scripture teaches us we are complete in Christ (Colossians 2:6-10). As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.

Many of us know the story of the woman who was healed of an issue of blood, but such a great faith was seen in Gennesaret when the men there gathered all who had a disease knowing if only they could touch the hem of His garment they would be made whole and were! (Matthew 14:34-36) And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret. And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased; And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

  1. Amen 🙏🤗

Colossians 2:6-10 reminds us that we are complete in Christ, rooted and built up in Him, and established in faith. The story of the woman healed by touching Jesus’ garment and the many healed in Gennesaret (Matthew 14:34-36) illustrate the power of faith in Him. Just as they were made whole by their belief, we too can find completeness and healing in Christ, who embodies the fullness of God and holds all authority.
