Foresight is a gift from the hand of God

God oftentimes will allow those who follow Him to see things before they happen, mainly for their own protection and to instruct them ( Job 33:14-18) For God speaketh once, yea twice, yet man perceiveth it not. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falleth upon men, in slumberings upon the bed; Then he openeth the ears of men, and sealeth their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keepeth back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

Noah was a man who was given a message from God of a time on the horizon that was about to bring a flood upon the earth and only his family ( 8 Soul’s) and animal’s aboard would survive! ( Hebrews 11:7) By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

When the time came and our Lord was before Pilate of who should be released, it was Pilates wife who was foretold through a dream that he should not choose Jesus (Yahshua) as she suffered many things because of the dream she had (Matthew 27:15-20) Now at that feast the governor was wont to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would. And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas. Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? For he knew that for envy they had delivered him. When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him. But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

There is no better guidance for ones life, than to be guided by the spirit of God who allows us to stay on the narrow path and in the will of God! (John 16:13-15) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

God who knows the heart’s and minds of all people has called His own to carry out His ways and purpose in the earth, and they will be shown things to come! (Isaiah 42:5-9) Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein: I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of the prison house. I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

  1. Amen 🙏
There is no greater feeling than to hear or witness the Lord speaking to you. That is how I began my writing career (if I may call it a career 😂🤷). I found myself in quiet time just speaking to the Lord in prayer about what ever it was I was going through at the time, then, by His Amazing gift, He answered my prayer answered my question and it’s been going on ever since.
I learned to keep a notebook and pen Handy when I’m in prayer now, the Lord speaks great words, Amen.
So with that being said, my writing is The Lord answering my questions.
“Ask and it shall be given, seek, and you will find.”

“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God … and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith”

God “heareth the prayer of the righteous”

    Amen 🙏

    • Beautifully said Willie! The Lord is as close as the mention of His name when coupled with genuine faith. I hear you when you say you keep a pen handy as it is through the night (The night watch) and prayer time God speaks so clearly when the clutter of our day is not present.
      Stay the course.
      Many Blessings
      Julia
