With so much false teaching happening in the world today, this post first appeared om 12/3/2021 and needs to be reposted.

 There is a false teaching today that God will form Christ in a person that has not repented of their sin. How absurd is this teaching to say we can live our life without repenting of our sin and God will form Christ in us. As scripture says they take the word of God and twist it to their own destruction and sadly those who believe this will perish thinking they were saved ( 2 Peter 3:16-18) Our Lord teaches unless we repent we will all likewise perish (Luke 13:1-5) There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

 Scripture teaches Christ cannot be formed in us unless we repent! God Himself says He wants no one to perish but that all come to repentance ( 2 Peter 3:9-11) The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

 Some sadly are teaching it is God who causes someone to be born again of His Holy Spirit as though there is nothing a person needs to do. We find the answer in the book of Acts that there certainly is something we need to do on our part to receive the Holy Spirit when Peter preached his sermon at Pentecost and was asked the question “What must we do?” Peters reply answers what a person needs to do to receive the Holy Spirit! (Acts 2:37,38) Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

 There have always been false teachers, and the closer the day comes to the Lord returning satan knows he has a short time and will work through those who are willing to teach his false doctrine. BEWARE! (2 Peter 2:1-3). Our Lord came to seek and to save the lost, and in the passage of the lost sheep our Lord teaches heaven itself rejoices over one who repents! (Luke 15:4-7) What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is lost, until he find it? And when he hath found it, he layeth it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he cometh home, he calleth together his friends and neighbours, saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost. I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
