God   VS   gods      

God standeth in the congregation of the mighty;he judgeth among the gods.(Psalm 82:1).

Notice the capital G (God)here for the God who judgeth among the small g(gods) Plural which are the gods of the people that we are told NOT to serve the gods of the people which are round about us.

”Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God,and serve him,and shalt swear by his name.Ye shall not go after other gods,of the gods of the people which are round about you;(For the Lord thy God is a jealous God among you)lest the anger of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee,and destroy thee from off the face of the earth”.(Deuteronomy 6:13-15).

Years back the Comedian Flip Wilson had a character who would say:The devil made me do it………… Even JESUS KNEW the devil is real and has the unbeliever in bondage to his sin and it’s NOT FUNNY when a soul is in jeopardy of Eternal Hell.The world feels as long as they make fun of the devil he has no power and stays as a Fictional Character!

Jesus often said he was not of this world! “Then Jesus said unto the chief priests,and captains of the temple,and the elders,which were come to him,Be ye come out,as against a thief,with swords and staves?

When I was daily with you in the temple,ye stretched forth no hands against me:BUT THIS IS YOUR HOUR,AND THE POWER OF DARKNESS”.(Luke 22:52,53).

This DARKNESS is “STILL IN THE EARTH TODAY! Jesus did not take it with him.It is the same satan that entered Judas that betrayed Jesus.”Then entered satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot,being of the number of the twelve”(Luke 22:3).

“Finally,my brethren,be strong in the Lord,and in the power of his might.Put on the whole armour of God,that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we WRESTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD,but against principalities,against powers,AGAINST THE RULERS OF THE DARKNESS OF THIS WORLD,against spiritual wickedness in high places.Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God,that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day,and having done all,to stand.

Stand therefore,having your loins girt about with truth,and having on the breastplate of righteousness;And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;Above all,taking the shield of faith,wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

And take the helmet of salvation,and the sword of the Spirit,which is the word of God”(Ephesians 6:10-17).

“The people that walked in darkness have seen a GREAT LIGHT:they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death,upon them hath the LIGHT SHINED”(Isaiah 9:2)—(Isaiah 9:6-8)!

“But if our gospel be hid,it is hid to them that are lost:In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not,lest THE LIGHT of the glorious gospel of Christ,who is the image of God,should shine unto them”.

(2 Corinthians 4:3,4).
