It is inevitable the day will come when we pass away, and while we are alive it is so important to know and learn of God. There are so many ways to believe out there today and although it is hard to think people believe it some are teaching that hell does not exist when scripture teaches most assuredly that it does. Hell is referred to fifty four times and seventeen of those times Jesus taught of it. If only heaven exists this would mean murderers, liars, sorcerers and idolaters would have no problem entering, but this is not what revelation teaches. (Revelation 22:14-15). Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
We need to have faith in the Son of God who died for us to obtain salvation. The deceiver (satan) loves nothing more than for someone to think hell or he does not exist, even if people do not believe it does not take away the fact satan is the god of this world with the job of keeping people in the dark away from the knowledge of Christ. (2 Corinthians 4:3-5). But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
How many are under the assumption God is so merciful that they stand on the passage we are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God so why not live how thy want and will repent in the end……. Sounds good! only we miss out on the gift of repentance and the Holy Spirit given for living a righteous life for Christ with the hope and joy of eternal life after this one! Revelation tells us the day will come when the books will be opened we will all be judged out of and those who were not written in the book of life will be cast into the lake of fire. This passage alone tells of a heaven we should strive to be part of for all eternity. (Revelation 20:11-15). And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
