Don’t be deceived hell exists

Not everyone believes that hell exists,of course to have this mindset would allow one to live in their sin thinking there would be no consequences. Scripture teaches us hell truly does exist as God is holy and righteous, and those who love and obey Him will inherit eternal life and heaven.

It is hard to believe there are some churches and religious organizations such as jehovah witnesses and mormons who teach hell does not exist.(Blue letter bible-study tools-cults).This would mean murderers, liars and sorcerers will go to heaven, but this is not scriptural!(Revelation 22:12-15).12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.

Jesus taught about hell and those who He sends such as prophets, wise men and scribes would be persecuted, killed and even crucified for His name sake.No one wants to be told their destined for hell, but we cannot disregard the word hell even Jesus spoke of(Matthew 23:33-39).

We cannot deny the following passage Jesus taught of a place where the worm never dies and the fire is not quenched in hell(Mark 9:43-50).43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. 49 For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt. 50 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Repentance is in order as eventually each and every one of us will die and stand before the judgment of God,and where will your soul be if you are not written in the Lambs book of life?(Revelation 20:14,15).

For those who do not believe hell exists then we would have to alter the bible, which we are warned not to do. (Revelation 22:18,19). In the story of Lazarus and the rich man we see the rich man is literally in the torments of hell as he asks to come back and warn his brethren so they do not end up in such a place! (Luke 16:19-31) There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man’s table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham’s bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father’s house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.  And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
