It is hard to believe that anyone would think there is no heaven or hell, yet some think only heaven exists and hell does not. Scripture teaches us of both being in existence, in fact Jesus spoke a lot about hell to ensure we repent and not go to such a place! (Matthew 5:27-30). Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery: But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart. And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.
Scripture clearly teaches of both heaven and hell. The fate of our soul relies completely on us and the way we live our life, and the actions we choose. The following passages teach us of both heaven and hell.
HEAVEN
1.) One day the Lord will descend from heaven (Matthew 24:29-31) Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
2.) An angel from heaven appeared to strengthen our Lord (Luke 22:43) And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
3.) The Holy Spirit is sent to us from heaven (1 Peter 1:12) Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
HELL
1.) In the book of Isaiah we see how satan thought he could ascend into heaven and be exalted to the throne of God, but he was brought down to hell (Isaiah 14:12-17) How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his prisoners?
2.) In chapter 7 of proverbs we learn of the house of the harlot, and for the man who is taken by her, he is not aware her house is the way to hell (Proverbs 7:24-27) Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
3.) Jesus has the keys of hell and of death! (Revelation 1:18) I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

It’s funny how people can twist words around to fit what makes them comfortable. Hell scares them, therefore it doesn’t exist. Also, the tribulation scares people so they twist bible verses to make it sound like they’re going to be zapped out of here before the last seven years. When that doesn’t happen, there will be a great falling away and that is what worries me.
You have said well Mary! Scripture reads just as you wrote (2 Peter 3:16,17) As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
So true is hell scares people then they will just say it doesn’t exist, and wouldn’t that be nice if that’s all we had to do is think something away so we are happy and can better accept it.
The rapture theory is not biblical as you know, but don’t let that worry you about the falling away for that is the will of God which will show those who truly are in the Lord. Strength and Grace over you Mary.

That is true. I think some are going to church for the wrong reasons; they want an easy ticket out of what’s coming. I pray they wake up to the truth.
Spot on! They go for the wrong reasons!!!!! May hearts and minds be changed. Blessings Always.
