Did you know spiritually speaking satan knows what makes us happy as we learn very quickly when we are saved the old way of life keeps repeating as though summoning us to return to the sin we left behind. Demons are well aware when the Holy Spirit is present within an individual as we read the scripture of those possessed of demons and cast into the swine. “And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Ger’-ge-senes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way. And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou hither to torment us before the time? And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding. So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine. And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters”.(Matthew 8:28-32).

 Did you notice the demons said to Jesus have you come to torment us before our time? They know full well the judgment which  God has already  set over them and even satan himself knows he has but a short time to deceive. “Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabitors of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time”.(Revelation 12:12).

 When we hear someone say when they are in an argument, oh they know just how to push my button’s and the truth of the matter is that if we are not in the peace of Christ and in constant contentions we may not be dealing with flesh and blood, but the spirit which is motivating them.  We find in the reading of Galatians Paul knew what he was dealing with just as when we are called by God that his Spirit allows us to know what we are dealing with in others if their actions are not in line with the word of God!  “But when it pleased God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace, To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen; immediately I conferred not with flesh and blood”.(Galatians 1:15,16).

 When we are aware of the devices of satan we can better understand what is happening in front of us and no longer wonder why sometimes we are hated for no reason at all other than the reason being what is motivating the others in front of us! We need to remember God Almighty created heaven and earth, but it is up to us if we choose to serve him or the god of this world which is deceiving many and is known as the father of lies. As a Christian we forgive others in the person of Christ, and at the same time know the devices satan thinks he has over us, so we are not  overtaken by his schemes after all his mission is to kill, steal, and destroy as much as he possibly can (John 10:10) “To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave anything, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; Lest satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices”.(2 Corinthians 2:10,11).

 Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. For evil doers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth”.(Psalm 37:7-9).

 How many give God an hour a week at their weekly service, yet their life shows opposite of following the Lord. Scripture teaches the reason being that we are known by our fruit’s, and although someone claims to be a christian it is their actions which tell the truth and what they are being motivated by!
