An eternal family

Throughout our childhood our parents guide and discipline us for our own good. They give us sage advice so we grow up to be a responsible adult. Now some may say well I had an absent father or mother,or I was abused growing up,but not all is lost! Our Father in heaven knew you before you were even formed in your mothers womb, and out of His true love has sent us His son who came to give His life as a ransom for many.

We are all born into our flesh and blood families, yet there is an eternal family who honor and serve God by His spirit(John 4:23,24).Jesus taught of this family when the multitude said to Him that His mother and brethren were outside waiting to see Him,it was then He said whosoever shall do the will of God is of His family(Mark 3:32-35). And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee. And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren? And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

Therefore no matter what family situations we are born into,it is the genuine love of God that can through His sons shed blood redeem us into His eternal family!(Titus 2:11-15). For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Being of the family of God is really up to us and how we conduct our lives while we live. By being obedient to Gods will more than our own shows others we are christians, and at the end of our life allow us to enter Gods eternal family! (Galatians 6:7-10) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.
