Science is always trying to explain away the fact that the weather is of God by calling Him mother nature, and many times He walks through the earth via the weather for the clouds are the dust of His feet. Just as He poured out His wrath upon Nineveh, so does He move through the earth in our day! (Nahum 1:2,3) God is jealous, and the LORD revengeth; the LORD revengeth, and is furious; the LORD will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies. The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Man has the ability to make snow for ski slopes and what looks like lightning bolts, but there is no technology that can compare to the true Awesome powerful work of God which is the weather!

It is Written: ( Psalm 18:13-15) The Lord also thundered in the Heavens,and the highest gave his voice;hail stones and coals of fire. Yea,he sent out his arrows,and scattered them;and he shot out lightnings,and discomfited them. Then the channels of waters were seen,and the foundations of the world were discovered at thy rebuke,O Lord,at the blast of the breath of thy nostrils. (2 Samuel 22:14-16).

The previous passage truly tells who makes the weather, and it is God not man’s power that is at work. For many when they hear it thundering out think it’s just a loud noise, but scripture teahes us it is the voice of God! (Psalm 77:17-19) The clouds poured out water:the skies sent out a sound:thine arrows also went abroad. The voice of thy thunder was in Heaven:the lightnings lightened the world:the earth trembled and shook. Thy way is in the sea,and thy path in the great waters,and thy footsteps are not known.

Many believe the weather happens because of scientific proof, but we have stronger knowledge from scripture that the weather if from the Lord (Genesis 19:24,25) Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of Heaven;and he overthrew those cities, and all the plain,and all the inhabitants of the cities,and that which grew upon the ground.

God is in control of the earth and He always has been and always will be! His ways are not our ways and is infinite in knowledge. He is to be feared and reverenced. He truly Loves His children and there is a time and season for every purpose under heaven. Nothing is done unless it is His will, and there is a reason the weather plays such a huge part in our lives (Job 37:9-13) Out of the south cometh the whirlwind: and cold out of the north. By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened. Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud: And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
