It is faith in the unseen that activates the power of God in our life. Elisha was a man of faith and we see a wonderful picture of Gods realm that is at work in the earth when his servant saw they were surrounded by a host of many. When Elishas servant was fearful when he and Elisha were surrounded by many horses and chariot’s we see Elisha prayed to the Lord to open the eyes of his servant so that he may see that there were more with them in Gods power then all that surrounded them! We too must realize there is a host in heaven which surrounds us even today! (2 Kings 6:15-17).
As a christian we know we do not walk alone through this life, and are constantly aware of what Yahshua taught that greater is he who is in us then he that is in the world. This greatness is Christ Himself which dwells within the believer through the holy spirit, and allows us to view the heavenly realm where God dwells. Just as Elishas servant was shown Gods realm, so it is with Stephen who when he was being stoned looked up and saw the heavens opened and the Son of man at the right hand of God (Acts 7:54-60) When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.
Our Lord taught that faith can move mountains and we know faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. God created the worlds just by His word alone! It was by faith Abraham was blessed with a son even in old age of almost one hundred, by this we learn how at any age God is faithful to His promises and is able to call things which are not into being as though they were! (Romans 4:16-25) Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be. And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb: He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him; But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
God did not create man to live a life separate from Him, and to this day He still looks down from heaven to see if there is anyone who is seeking Him! (Psalm 14:2) The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
To believe in God is to believe in His Son who was sent for the salvation of all who repent and turn to Him, by doing so Gods realm becomes a reality in which flesh and blood cannot inherit except by faith.

“Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of him.”
