Believe it or not the wicked love to do that which is evil, it is as second nature to them. In fact they do not abhor evil and will lose sleep to plot and cause others to fall. (Proverbs 4:14-19).  Enter not into the path of the wicked, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence. But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble.

If we are walking with Christ then it is a joy to do what is asked of us. If lying is something even God hates (Proverbs 6:17), then as a Christian we should abhor it as well! (Psalm 119:162-165). I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth great spoil. I hate and abhor lying: but thy law do I love. Seven times a day do I praise thee because of thy righteous judgments. Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.

God did not make man evil, but in the Garden of Eden man used free will and believed satan the serpent of all lies that he would be as God knowing good and evil. Eve was deceived and beguiled just as we could be today for the sole purpose of the enemy of our souls is to follow evil and by doing so be destroyed in the process! (John 10:10). As christians God expects His people to be a light in this world, and to shun evil at all costs! (Romans 12:9-18) Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another; Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord; Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer; Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality. Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not. Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.

Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.(Psalm 34:13-16).
