Victory Over Our Enemies

How many times do we see an injustice and say shame on them they should know better. We can take comfort in knowing if we are viewing it, then God see it as well. Did you know God will allow you to see your enemy removed from before you, so you will know He is your defense? ( Psalm 59:10-12) The God of my mercy shall prevent me: God shall let me see my desire upon mine enemies. Slay them not, lest my people forget: scatter them by thy power; and bring them down, O Lord our shield. For the sin of their mouth and the words of their lips let them even be taken in their pride: and for cursing and lying which they speak.

This choice we make to follow Christ brings much hatred, but remember our Lord said they hated Him before they hated us. We are no longer of the world nor follow it’s way’s. In our Lords own words we read of how He asks His Father to keep His own from the evil of this world! (John 17:3-17) And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. (1 John 3:13), (Psalm 44:7).

We realize the right decision was made on our part when our Father shows up on our behalf in a situation we are battling, and should we make the wrong decision then war breaks out. (2 Chronicles 16:9) For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to SHEW HIMSELF STRONG IN THE BEHALF OF THEM WHOSE HEART IS PERFECT TOWARD HIM. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

When we place our Faith in God it is He who causes us not to be a prey to our enemies, they do not triumph over us…Sadly though sometimes it is our own friends who turn away from us if we stand for the righteousness of God (Psalm 41:9-11) Yea,mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. But thou,O Lord,be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33).
