The born from above experience (Born Again) allows us to have eyes to see and ears to hear through the holy spirit. The more we learn of the Lord the more it becomes clear we had been living a life away from the truth which sets us free. When we then speak the word to others and especially those closest to us like family there suddenly seems to be a language barrier that was not there before…..But why?

The answer is simpler than you might think. Some seek God and some do not, some are perfectly happy attending a service once a week, while others seek the daily bread of life (Christ) and are eager to learn all they can about their Saviour. When we branch off from family and friends to seek God we will find Him, while others stay in the status quo (Jeremiah 29:11-13) For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

We are instructed to fear and seek God, but our own wants and needs get in the way. The wisdom of the world God says is foolishness to Him, and can only take us so far. (1 Corinthians 1:18-21) If we seek God and turn to Him we are converted and a whole new way of life is opened before us! Jesus (Yahshua) says we are then blessed and able to see and hear what the world cannot (Matthew 13:13-17) Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.

Once we come to the wisdom and knowledge of Christ we can see more clearly those who love and fear God and those who do not. Those of the world will speak to each other and are heard, while those in the body of Christ speak the language of heaven! (Philippians 3:17-20)   Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them. We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error. (1 John 4:4-6)
