WE REAP WHAT WE SOW

There is a constant battle between the flesh and the spirit, the flesh will always steer us to the wide path of destruction and the spirit will always guide us to the narrow path that leads to life! (Galatians 6:7-10) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.

There are times we see people are their own worst enemies by the ways they choose, and even though we may say it’s not a good idea to do what their doing they eventually will reap what they sow! Our ways will always be rewarded us whether it be for good or for evil (Isaiah 3:9-11) The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him.

The time is coming when the day of the Lord will reveal the recompense many thought they would avoid, and yet what we have done shall return upon our own head as we truly do reap what we sow (Obadiah 15) For the day of the LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head.

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13,14).
