Scripture teaches there are lords and gods many among the people, and as christians we know there is only one God and that is God Almighty creator of heaven and earth! For those who do not believe the gospel of Christ they are blinded to the truth of the word by none other than satan who is the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:3-6) But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Before Jesus (Yahshua) was crucified He taught that satan is the prince of this world and would be cast out, and that He would draw all men unto Himself (John 12:26-32) If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour. The Son of Man Must Be Lifted Up. Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him. Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes. Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out. And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. (John 16:7-11).

Although God is over everything man is unfortunately influenced by the power of satan while he lives, and is taken captive by him unless we repent and believe the truth of the gospel (2 Timothy 2:24-26) And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth; And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will. 

Praise God the day will come when satan is cast into the bottomless pit during the thousand year millennium, and finally into the lake of fire where death and hell will reside for all eternity!( Revelation 20:1-3,10)   And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. 

May we use the armour God has provided to live our lives in victory in a fallen world that is in dyer need of a Saviour! (Ephesians 6:10-18)

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (Isaiah 14:12).
