The first conditional promise brings on the abiding of God within us, with the power that Christ and his apostles had. This enables us to receive the second promise: to rule with Him in His soon-coming Kingdom.

The promise to sit on Christ’s throne is profound, but it requires overcoming spiritual lukewarmness. By seeking His wisdom, righteousness, and purity, we are called to prepare ourselves for a future of divine authority and glory.
You are correct Willie, as many remain lukewarm by not doing their part in studying the word and repenting from the sin that so easily besets them they forfeit heaven and the honor of sitting with Him on His throne.
Be Blessed in your walk Always

True faith calls for repentance, commitment, and a hunger for His Word. Only then can we truly abide in Him and share in His glory.
So beautifully said and true! 🙂 Our hunger for Him must surpass our own interests.
Many Blessings
