To look around at a world so full of hatred, murder, rape, we may ask why would such a loving God allow so much violence in the earth?
We must realize from the very beginning of time God knew the hearts of men, and after having to destroy His own creation once has sent the answer for mankind through His only begotten Son the Lord Jesus Christ ( Genesis 6:5-7 ) And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them.
God is not oblivious to the evil and wickedness in the earth that surrounds us daily, and He is angry with the wicked every day! It is those who follow after righteousness that will inhabit the earth ( Psalm 7:9-11 ) Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just; for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. My defence is of God which saveth the upright in heart. God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
His ways are not our ways therefore we must know the plan He has for us will come to pass by His will and not our own. Just as the parable of the tares and wheat, so do we who live for the Lord dwell among the wicked, but in the midst of adversity the Lord will give rest unto His people until the pit has been dug for the wicked! (Psalm 94:11-15 ) The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. Blessed is the man whom thou chastenest, O Lord, and teachest him out of thy law; That thou mayest give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be digged for the wicked. For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance. But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
The frustration we endure of the wickedness and evil which surrounds us we must remember is also in view of God whom it also upsets, in fact it is hard for Him to even behold it, Habakkuk speaks in his time as though it is taken from our time. (Habakkuk 1:1-4, 12,13 ) The burden which Habakkuk the prophet did see. O Lord, how long shall I cry, and thou wilt not hear! Even cry out unto thee of violence, and thou wilt not save! Why dost thou shew me iniquity, and cause me to behold grievance? For spoiling and violence are before me: and there are that raise up strife and contention. Therefore the law is slacked, and judgment doth never go forth: for the wicked doth compass about the righteous; therefore wrong judgment proceedeth. Art thou not from everlasting, O Lord my God, mine Holy One? We shall not die. O Lord, thou hast ordained them for judgment; and, O mighty God, thou hast established them for correction. Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

In the midst of hardship, we hold fast to faith, knowing He is always with us, even when the darkness seems overwhelming.
” even when the darkness seems overwhelming.” Therin lies the comfort we have that those who reject Him does not!!!

The world is the filtering sphere of free choice where man learns what thirsting and hunger is really about should he dare to take up his cross and follow. But I suppose if one is gluttonous and injurious to others, the choices will define the man predicated on his true nature. imho…
You could not of explained this any better. 🙂 Free will since the Garden of Eden has always shown the true colors of many.
Always good to hear from you
Julia
Thank you. Many blessings, Julia.
Be Blessed Friend. 🙂
Fodder for thought. When we ask, “why God” during our trials, our fears demonstrate doubt of his ability and love.
Yes!!! Thank you for this. To question God is to doubt His ability which a strong faith would not question Him as we are to “Be still and know He is God”. I appreciate your comment so much.
