How unsettling it must have been for Abraham when God said to him “Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy fathers house, and unto a land that I will shew thee”. It was out of obedience did he do as God had asked, and at this time Abraham was seventy five years old. Could we be as obedient to leave all the familiar that we know and be led by God?

So it is with those who walk with God out of obedience today, and as Jesus (Yahshua) said it is when we lose our life as we know it for His sake then do we find a whole new life lived in obedience to Him. There may be some who see the change in you and think it is strange, but remember even though Jesus was the son of the living God even His own rejected Him yet remained obedient to His Fathers will!(John 1:10-14). He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not. He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Jesus (Yahshus) walked upon the earth in the flesh, and even though He suffered greatl, we can learn also to be obedient and fear God as we should (Hebrews 5:7-9). Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared. Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him.

 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land: But if ye refuse and rebel, ye shall be devoured with the sword: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it. (Isaiah 1:17-20).
