Winning the Battles in Our Mind Field

The abiding comes after we win the mind-battles. We abide in Christ, and His Spirit dwells within us when our minds have won the thought-wars.

But it is a battle in our minds. Satan attacks our thinking. He tries to occupy our minds with trivial, physical pursuits. Christ said to not think on food, clothing, and other physical things, but look on the invisible, spiritual things.

    • How very true. We are our own worst enemies at times, yet it is us getting in our own way. I have to thank you again Poet for sending me to my dictionary to look up Gossamer. 🙂

There was a time when my vocabulary was atrocious and after losing someone important in my life, I believe God inspired me to write poetically that increased my vocabulary many folds. I was gifted something as a mission I could never publish for monetary gain. How the Lord uses Words I write to speak to others hearts and minds is between God and them. imho. Ty
