Born From Above

If we travel to a land we were not born in whose language is different than ours, it is not easy to be understood. This is what it is like when we are born into this world and then born again from above. The born again experience is one people do not understand unless they too have repented and have been born from above with the Holy Spirit. Nicodemus questioned Jesus (Yahshua) of how is it possible to be born again? (John 3:3-8) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is Spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, ye must be born again. The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Jesus (Yahshua) did the opposite of being born again as he left heaven the habitation of shear joy, comfort, love, and peace unspeakable to allow us to repent of all that is not of Him to one day enter heaven and this experience does not happen unless we are drawn of the Father and answer the call. Once we surrender to the truth of the word and no longer follow the lies of the world, we are forever changed by His grace! (John 6:44-47) No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. It is written in the prophets, and they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father. Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

It is written we cannot of our own strength do anything although we try our best. It is not until we are willing to turn from our frailty of power that we see the awesome power that comes through knowing Christ. (Philippians 4:12,13) I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

We are all born into this world, but only by the grace of God and by genuine repentance do we find the way that leads us home where our soul yearns to return to! By faith God has prepared a city His people will one day endter for all eternity! (Hebrews 11:16) But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.( 1 Peter 1:22,23).
