This week is Easter and Passover is Abib (Nisan) 14-21 and corresponds to April 21-29 this year (2024). What are the differences one may ask? Plenty! My first doubts about the Easter was the math. Jesus said He would be in the heart of the earth (metaphor for grave) 3 days and 3 nights. (Matt. 12:40) The Easter tradition says He was placed in the grave Friday and resurrected just before sunrise Sunday, the first day of the week which is only 2 nights and 1 day, and that is only half the time. Something is wrong with the math! As a carpenter, I am sure Jesus knew his arithmetic. Surely, surely, He was not a liar!
