There is a battle in this life that is far beyond what the eye can see. It is the spiritual battle every christian faces when they truly repent and make the Lord the center of their life. Paul said it best how once he was called by the grace of God he immediately did not confer with flesh and blood! (Galatians 1:15,16).
When we too are saved by Gods grace this life is then viewed through the eyes of faith and the spiritual life comes into focus more than ever before. We soon learn the wisdom of the world we were so much a part of is foolishness to God. The battle begins when we see there is a definite difference between what the world stands for and that which God deems as righteous and holy to Him! (1 Corinthians 2:11-16) For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
This battle does not limit itself to the vastness of the world, it sadly however is within our own families. Jesus answered of such a time this would happen and by His holy spirit the family unit changes (Matthew 10:34-39) Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.
We begin to see there are people who have no problem believing and standing for what God is against and saying its perfectly fine putting evil for good and good for evil! If we truly are a follower of Christ we know God is pro life, yet with these people abortion does not bother them (Isaiah 5:20-23) Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! ( Proverbs 17:15).
Armour is used for a battle and our Father in heaven has not left His people without the weaponry that is needed to win the battle we are called unto!(Ephesians 6:10-18). It wearies the Lord when we do not keep His sound judgments as He expects us to do,and if we think it’s alright to say those who are doing evil are good (Malachi 2:17) Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?

So powerful, Julie 🔥 Amen. The battle is real, but praise God, we are not left defenseless. With the mind of Christ and the Armor of God, we stand firm in truth, no matter the cost. 🙏🕊️💪
Amen Willie! We are never alone when we are in Christ. I love that you say “We stand firm in truth, no matter the cost.” 🙏🕊️💪 That is where many sadly fall away when the cost is so great and their Faith weakens. He truly is our All in All.
Many Blessings over you Always Willie

I have been guilty of this at times, allowing fear or discouragement to shake me. But I know deep in my soul, if I lose my Hope, if I lose my Faith, then I lose everything. Christ is my anchor, my strength, and my reason to keep standing.
Many Blessings back to you, today and always…
I hear you Brother. We have all been in the fear and discouragement boat, and our HOPE all lies in the one who has died to save us from ourselves.
Blessings
Julia
