Parables conceal the mysteries of the government (kingdom) of God. They contain things “kept secret from the foundation of the world.”
One parable, the parable of the sower, is the key that will unlock the understanding to all the parables, and that is the parable of the sower. Know ye not this parable? And how then will ye know all parables? (Mark 4:13). It is found in Matthew 13:1-9.

Good read. I was just studying this parable for my book! 😉❤️💯
Be Blessed Ellie.

Amen – a good word. The peril of many today, as you point out this parable is the “key” to understanding all the other parables. It is the lens through which we are able to garner His truth not only in the other parables it presents to us the truth of His Kingdom and the means by which we enter into its vast domain.
The alarming thing about this is that the fruitfulness of a life is determined by the soil not the seed. The same precious seed fell on the thistle-laden soil as the good soil. Our ability to yield to the roots of Him seeking to move and insert His roots into the fabric of our being is the ultimate arbitrator of the fruit produced.
