The good fight of faith is a battle any Christian will gladly fight for the Lord who has redeemed their soul so they will never see death and gain eternal life (1 Timothy 6:12) Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
Moses who relied solely on the Lord knew the strength of his God, and all that He was capable of in fighting on behalf of His people! Before the Israelites crossed the red sea Moses told them to stand back and see the salvation of God, little did they know what they were about to witness. What a sight that must have been to see the red sea part and then to walk across on dry land! (Exodus 14:13-16) And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace. And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
We today are also aware of all God has done for us, in a sense it is not our battle but the Lord who by His power works His will through His people. The flesh accomplishes little compared to the power of the one who made us. The King of Judah Hez-e-ki’-ah knew just how God was able to fight his battles, and how one does not stand alone when with the Lord (2 Chronicles 32:6-8). And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them, saying, Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him: With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.
God has prepared for the battle of all time when His wrath will be poured out upon the nations. He has reserved in His storehouses a snow and hail like man has never seen before. (Job 38:22,23) Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen the treasures of the hail, Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? (Revelation 16:21).
OPEN YOUR HEART TODAY BY REPENTING……….. HE IS MERCIFUL AND FORGIVING! Fight the good fight of faith…………..Renew your mind in the word of God, and He will guide and direct your path! (Isaiah 1:16-18) Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before mine eyes; cease to do evil; Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
