Where our true help comes from

On our own we are powerless to the strength we would have in the Lord. What is impossible with man is possible with God. Whether we are helped by a friend or stranger it is God who gives the true help we need, for He works through His people. (John 15:5) I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

There is not a time day or night when God cannot hear us,He is continually omnipresent within the earth (Psalm 145:18-21). The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them. The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

So many times we read in scripture of the help that is available for all of us,and sometimes we get in our own way and lose sight of the true help only the Lord can provide for us. In our human frailty if we let go and let God to handle matters,it is then we see just how Gods presence steps in and how we are not alone!(Psalm 33:18-22). For I will declare mine iniquity: I will be sorry for my sin. But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied. They also render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is. Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me. Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.

Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.(Hebrews 4:14-16).

  1. Amen! Sometimes we stumble over our own feet because we lose sight of the path, even for a brief moment. Even blinking for the briefest of moments, we can stumble. That’s why we should not even consider for a moment social conformities to those spirits (mental dispositions) terrestrial and/or celestial that call evil good and/or good evil good. LOLGB+

    • Spoken as a true person in Christ! Praise God you are sensitive to the spirit, knowing the dangers of stepping on the wide path that will only lead to destruction.

May His strength always be yours my Friend
