“I, even I, am He that comforteth you…”
Isaiah 51:12
Take comfort in His watchful care over your soul. Not only is Christ our Saviour, our redeemer, our justifier, and the One who works in us the sanctification of a consecrated life, but HE is the ONE who keeps us. In all our trials and testing, He is there, watching over us. When the enemy with his fiery darts seeks to destroy all hope of standing true, He is there. When there is no wind in our sails, when we feel bereft of impulse or desire, He is there. He is our Shepherd who keeps His Father’s sheep.

Thank you, Julia. 2 Corinthians 1:4 is certainly a verse that all Christians should know. It is very comforting.
I agree 2 Corinthians 1:4 is a wonderful reminder of how we are given the ability to comfort others by the grace and comfort God has shown us. 🙂 We are Blessed Chris.
