The Word

“The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.”
John 1:14

Jesus is “The Word” made flesh. While we may marvel at the miraculous works of Jesus, the Father seeks to make Himself known through the character and love that we have for one another.

“By this shall all men know that ye are My disciples,
if ye have love one to another.”
John 13:35

  1. Thank you for sharing, Julie. I don’t mean to be picky but I liked the post except for this:

“Paul was not a preacher of great words.”

I’m in a Bible Study of Acts with some friends and I would have to disagree with that sentence. Maybe the author meant something specifically.

    Anyway, thanks again and

    God’s blessings…

    • Chris without knowing the reason the author wrote “Paul was not a preacher of great words” I’m sure he would elaborate if you would ask in the comment section. Have a Good evening.
      Blessings
      Julia

      • Oh, that’s a great idea, Julia. I didn’t think to do that but will do so right away. I hope you have a good evening as well. 🙂
        God’s blessings…

      • I went to Brian’s blog and didn’t see a place to make a comment below the post. It’s really not that important but if you know how I can make a comment on his blog, Julie, would you let me know? Maybe I’m missing something easy just like my wife can look in the junk drawer for 3 seconds after I’ve already been looking for 3 minutes and she can spot what I’m looking for.

      • Love it Chris! You say your wife can find something after you can’t and there you are in a minute finding what your looking for. Sounds like my marriage. LOL

      • I’m actually surprised I found it. I usually look for something about three times and give up. I’ve always thought I was much more of a visual learner than my wife but when it comes to finding something…(maybe being a visual learner has nothing to do with finding something)

      • (maybe being a visual learner has nothing to do with finding something) Chris I’m thinking your observation is correct being visual isn’t helping you find things. Thank you for the laughter.
        Have a Blessed Day
        Julia
