Thank you for sharing this excellent article, Julia. We are surrounded by complexity that has no explanation and this article about the sunflower gives evidence of that. My Dad used to grow sunflowers and one year he had one that towered over the both of us by a long shot.
I don’t see how people who have some understanding of biology and the complexity of living things can deny the existence of a creator. The Bible verses here speak right to the subject. As stated in the book of Jeremiah:
“Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you.”

Good to hear you enjoyed this post. I too could not understand how what we think is so plain to see others completely miss it. This is the reason the Lord spoke in parables to those He knew would not understand, and knew those who were of Him would know exactly what He was talking about. Yes, I am blessed to see what others do not. We believers don’t miss it as you pointed out. One of the verses in the article is one that I know well because it is in the first chapter of Romans.
20″ For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.”
That verse has some interesting ramifications.

I hear you on the Romans passage, as it doesn’t get any clearer…… well to those whose heart is set on Him. 🙂 Gosh even the breath of life tells us we did not exist until we take our God given breath.
