Only the Spirit of God can reveal a matter to man,just as he did with Daniel who was the only one who could interpret the dream of King Nebuchadnezzar. “The King answered unto Daniel,and said,of a truth it is,that your God is a God of gods,and a Lord of kings,and a revealer of secrets,seeing thou couldest reveal this secret”.(Daniel 2:47).

It was our Father in Heaven that revealed to Simon Barjona who Christ was. “He saith unto them,But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said,Thou art the Christ,the Son of the Living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him,Blessed art thou,Simon Barjona:for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee,but my Father which is in Heaven.And I say also unto thee,Thou are Peter,and upon this rock I will build my church;and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”.

(Matthew 16:15-18).

I Love how God gives surnames (nickname,or name of occupation) to his people.Peter is known as the rock to this day!

“And I will give thee the treasures of darkness,and hidden riches of secret places,that thou mayest know that I,the Lord,which call thee by thy name,am the God of Israel.For Jacob my servant’s sake,and Israel my elect,I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee though thou hast not known me.I am the Lord,and there is none else,there is no God beside me: I girded thee,though thou hast not known me:That they may know from the rising of the sun,and from the west,that there is none beside me.I am the Lord,and there is none else”.(Isaiah 45:3-6).

We are a predestined people set aside to show forth his Glory! “For whom he did foreknow,he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son,that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.Moreover whom he did predestinate,them he also called:and whom he called,them he also justified,them he also Glorified.What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us,who can be against us?
